POISON- IMMUNE SUPER RATS SHOWING UP IN WORLDWIDE!
IT’S A TIME BOMB WAITING TO EXPLODE!
People should be aware that “Super Rats” started showing up in England awhile back but now there are reports of these giants showing up in New York City, Chicago and Southern California. Rat Exterminators in those city are reporting that 1 in 5 of the rats they are catching are twice as big as the usual rats, easily reaching 4 to 5 lbs each. In England it is expected that these super rats will outnumber humans 2 to 1 in the next few years. In New York, researchers are currently trying to find their sources of these Super Rats.
In Orange County California, were the Grand Jury Investigated their growing rat problem, we have caught a few of these super rats at The Orange County Sanitation Plant in Fountain Valley in 2012.
40% of those rats tested were found to be immune to the currant rat baits. We, as exterminators, have been limited to the same types of rat poisons that were developed in the 1950’s. Unless newer products are brought to the market quickly, this is just a time bomb waiting to explode.
It’s just like the bed bug problem that exploded worldwide. Products that were effective against these bugs were taken off the market, the few products we have for controlling bed bugs are being used so much that the bed bug population is developing immunity to them; new products are coming online too slowly.
Currently, rats cause billions of dollars in property damage and billions of dollars in agriculture losses each year. They also are a public health concern with all the diseases, bacteria and viruses they carry. It was reported that in New York City, rats were found to be carrying 18 new viruses, in California roof rats in the Anaheim water basin was found to carry the hanta virus. Now with these super rats exploding on the scene problems will go from bad to really bad quickly.
