Cockroaches are disgusting. They are known to carry and transmit many diseases .They will show up all of a sudden in the middle of the night and they’re just ugly. Here are six cockroach hiding places in your house, and what you can do to help prevent roaches in your home. Kitchen Appliances Roaches hide in the back of your microwave, under and on the back of your frig and even on your stove! Don’t forget to store foods like grains, pastas and pet food in sealed air-tight containers. Electronics One place most people don’t think about when it comes down to hiding places for cockroaches is your electronics! Unfortunately, crumbs and other food particles can fall in between and under your keys, those compressed cans of air used to clean dust and debris from your equipment are vital in removing attractants. Some roaches are so small they can wriggle through gaps in the keyboards. Make sure your electronics are less attractive to roaches by setting them aside when you eat and using that canned air to keep keyboards clean. Pipes Pipes that run throughout your home tend to be located in dark, warm and moist places. You don’t want roaches to feel comfortable? Regularly check pipes and faucets to make sure there are no leaks. Seal any cracks or holes around plumbing that leads to the outdoors or into walls. Inside your walls is a favorite place for cockroaches to live and thrive. Furniture Cockroaches will sometimes find their way to your couch or chairs, especially if there is spilled as you snacks in the seams.. What’s even worse is that they will lay their eggs there also.
